It's Not a Phase, It's a Fundraiser
West End Cultural Centre
Winnipeg, R3B 1Z8
How to get there
On May 3rd, The West End Cultural Center will be transformed into a wide-open, high-voltage playground for heavy music as Torture Valentine, The Program and Station Eleven will take the stage. The room itself is big and roomy, giving the sound space to fully breathe and hit. Sound is the kind that tells you the crowd is ready to move, not just watch. All proceeds from this show will go toward Huddle Youth, a local organization that offers mental health supports for young people.
In the context of live heavy performances, this show will stand out as a reminder of how powerful the genre can be when everything clicks. The room, the crowd, and bands that clearly come ready to give it everything. Bring a portable fan to keep your face from melting!

Featuring 3 local youth bands:
Torture Valentine
Torture Valentine is a cover band so emo that your hair will turn black two seconds into our set. Bring your sadness, angst, and existential dread to our show and we will channel your darkness all the way into the black iron heart of our planet’s core.
The Program
The Program will follow with an equally amazing performance, matching that intensity while bringing their own edge to the night. Their songs hit with precision and confidence, balancing raw power with enough control to keep everything locked in and cohesive. The technical performance stands out. Sharp transitions, punchy dynamics, and a sense that the band knows exactly how to command both the stage and the room. It feels polished without losing any aggression, which only amplifies the impact.
Station Eleven
Station Eleven is a four-piece alternative band from Winnipeg known for their energy, authenticity, and awesome live presence. Their music is driven by emotion and intention, which translates clearly into their performances. Always doing whatever they can to put on a great show, the band focuses on creating a genuine connection with their audience and delivering an experience that feels both engaging and memorable. Whether on a small stage or a larger bill, Station Eleven brings consistency, passion, and heart to every performance

About Huddle
Huddle is a non-profit space built for youth by listening to youth. From the moment you walk in, their goal is to make you feel comfortable, welcome, and supported—no pressure, no judgment.
They are a one stop spot where young people can find health care, mental health and addictions support, youth services, and community programs all in one place. That means less running around, fewer appointments, and more time focusing on what actually helps you feel better.
Huddle follows the integrated youth services model, part of a growing global movement that brings different supports together in one safe space. This approach was created with input from youth and families and has been shown to make a real difference, especially when it comes to mental health and substance use support.
Most importantly, they listen. They don’t tell youth what to do or push one size fits all solutions. You tell them what’s going on, and they work with you to find the support that fits your needs. The process isn’t always instant, but they show up consistently and honestly to support youth on their path toward feeling healthier and more hopeful.
